Everywhere I go, I’m beginning to see more and more women with natural hair. Sometimes, I’m tempted to ask “What made you go natural? ” I admire women who are straying away from relaxers and perms, and realizing the healthy hair is beautiful and free! I even decided to go natural! I’m loving my natural look.

Many women of color feel the need to damage their hair with products such as Dr. Miracle’s Hair Relaxer, Soft and Beautiful, African Pride etc. What they don’t know is that those relaxers are dangerous, not only to their hair, but to the rest of their body.

I bet you are wondering, “What does she know about a relaxer?” She wears her hair natural. Well, I was “once” a creamy crack addict!!! I got fed up with relaxers when it started to bother my respiratory system. Inhaling those fumes from that relaxer can cause headaches, or nausea.

To be honest, I used to like Dr. Miracle over other creamy crack products. The reason why: It grew out my hair! I got to admit Dr. Miracle is some strong smelling stuff, but I love it! I think the only thing I would use now from Dr. Miracle is the hot oil treatment with an essential oil like peppermint or chamomile.

The Basics of the Creamy Crack Villian!

#1: I would recommend kicking the crack to the curb. The reason why? I cannot pronounce half of the things that is in this product! Seriously…If I have to spend more than five minutes pronouncing and breaking down a product and then researching it via Google (google me baby!), then it’s a waste of the product.

#2: Wouldn’t you like to be nappy, yet happy? I’m sure most of us would…the good thing about being a natural is the freedom of knowing that your hair is free of chemical burns and bumps.

#3: Facing the Lie of No-Lye: Now that’ a crock of a mess…Lye or no lye…just because it straigtens your hair doesn’t mean it’s going to last forever. Just imagine when it rains…your hair will frizz up and that means either more work doing your hair at home or spending money you really don’t have at a salon. That’s crazy

The song goes on from there, but as I was listening to the song, I felt that somehow men don’t really understand what we try to say to them. We try so hard, as their girlfriend or their wife, to understand how he feels when he has hard a tough day at work, or when the hustling game just ain’t popping because of the recession. Somehow, as a woman, I know what role I play in the relationship and I understand his role as well, but they don’t understand how frustrated it is being a woman. If a man went through the pain of having monthly cycles, and childbirth, I wouldn’t have nothing to complain about because they would know how it feels, but until that day, (or whenever God choose for it to happen), they just have to deal with us complaining about how tired we are of hot flashes, night sweats, vaginal leaking, (and the list goes on…). All a woman wants is to be reassured, (not all the time) of how good she looks (Yes, even after having the kids, we know our shapes change, but still), how much she is loved, how much she means to you, (etc, etc, etc).

Men, on the other hand, want us to understand them, but they are as much complexed as a woman. I don’t know how you are feeling until you tell me. I want to know how was work, how can I make you feel better, what do you want me to do for you, (general things). I am not one of these women who just don’t give damn about the relationship because the experience I’ve been through with me, personally, I would give up on love, but God won’t let me. I been through the typical drama with a man: cheating, lying, (did i say cheating), and being secretive. If  you want me to be open with you, then I want the same results from you as well. If I can’t achieve those results in a relationship, then there is no way that it could work out and like Mariah Carey say, “Someday, ooh some day, the one you gave away will be the only one you wishing for.”

Typical ass females don’t have nothing better else to do with their time, yet they sit here and get upset with you confront them in their web of lies. I dealt with so much drama in one day to the point where I can write a book about it. Females have the audacity to sit here and lie about simple shit. That’s why no decent man really want to fool with a TYPICAL ASS FEMALE! The definition of a typical ass female is a female who can’t seem to get her life in order, YET she has the guts to sit here and call you all kinds of names, (bitch, hoe, slut, tramp…you get the  point), but back to the story

She is your typical ass female: 3 DIFFERENT BABY DADDIES, ALMOST 30, 5 KIDS (A SET OF TWINS) NO JOB, NO HOUSE TO CALL HER OWN! Typical ass female! Oh, and this other greasy mouth heffa that had the nerves to get mad because we (my husband and I) blew her damn cover about her lies. She the typical ass female: College chick, in a sorority, (not saying which one), dumb, has a manly look, claims she got a boyfriend, (yet she worrying why he had another female at his house)

I’m done messing with TYPICAL ASS FEMALES! You try to be nice to them and be their friend, but all you get is a damn fucked up attitude from them. Seriously! Don’t ever ask me or my husband for advice about your relationship problems again! Don’t ever sit here and wonder why I’m not going to talk to you. I don’t associate myself with females who are full of crap. I don’t hang out with garbage because it can easily be thrown out. I am way too nice, and I’m very real about the words I say. If you feel like you don’t give a fuck about my feelings, well, I don’t give a fuck about yours either.

I’m a businesswoman, a blogger, a mother, a wife, a sister, a niece, an aunt….ALL OF THE ABOVE! I don’t need to worry about your life and what dude you messing with. For now on, I will put up a sign for people to read and hopefully understand. Have a good day!

I wrote a blog last night on about the emotional rollercoaster that we take when it comes to cheating. We don’t know if our spouse is truly cheating on us until we do a little investigating of our own. We need to stop accusing our boyfriends or girlfriends of cheating on us if we don’t have physical proof of them actually doing this. We need to stop listening to the so called friends we have because who knows. They could be trying to get with her or him and just putting information in your head to get you upset with your boyfriend or girlfriend.

The saying goes: “If it ain’t broke, don’t try to fix it.” If your relationship is a little shaky, don’t always assume it’s because your partner is cheating. That is the last thing you want to think about your partner. Cheating isn’t the answer to solve your relationship problems anyways. Stop going out buying panties that ain’t your size and placing them in his car to make him look like the suspect. You look very immature. Stop placing hickies on her neck and in 3 days accusing her for having an affair with another man. You are childish and very petty. A relationship is like a flower: It has to grow in order for it to work.

This is the typical scenario of most relationships. Being in a relationship can seem just like an emotional rollercoaster because your feelings about the person that you are datind does play a part in the relationship. It hurts even more when they have cheated on you. In my personal opinion, cheating does not solve any relationship issues that he or she may be having with their partner. What happen to the times when a man or a woman would sit down with their partner and just take the time to talk about the problems that they may have with one another?

So what she isn’t a good cook? It doesn’t matter because if you truly like someone, you’ll teach how to cook the right way. When I met my husband, I did not know anything about cooking and now, I know how to burn in the kitchen. (Really know how to cook.) It doesn’t matter if he didn’t graduate from college, or can’t hold down a job. As long as he is out there handling his business by applying for as many jobs as he can, you should be very supportive of him.

People cheat for the wrong reasons and make dumb decisions as well. When people cheat, all they think about is theirself. What about your partner and their feelings? Does their feeling even matter to you? Many people have regrets after the relationship is over. I know many of my ex’s have regrets because I always loved them no matter what, even when I was the fool for loving them when they claim to love me back.

The moral of the blog is cheating doesn’t solve anything. It only makes the relationship turn sour.

For me, it’s a beginning to a new start of my life. My daughter will be 4 on the 23rd of this month, and it is almost a year (31st of March) since my stepfather passed away. Although him and I didn’t see eye to eye on things, he always kept a smile on my mom face and that is what matter the most. My husband and I will be celebrating being together for 6 years (married 5 1/2) on the 6th. So the month of March has a significant meaning to me and my family.

Family is an important factor in my life, although some of my family turned their back on me once I moved from home. It’s okay though. I was upset and mad at them for treating me the way they did, but I finally learned that you can’t please everybody. You have to live your life for you and make the best choices that will help you and your future. At the rate of how jobs were being created in my hometown (Monroe, LA), I didn’t see any future being created for me and my family, so that’s why I decided to move.

I am very happy living in Dallas. I have made a few friends while I have been here and I enjoy being a Texas resident.

This is not the Flinstone’s era anymore; we barely use landline phones! This generation is more into using cell phones; from the iPhone created by AT&T, The Android, Palm Pre, Palm Pixi, to the plainest cell phone made. Anyway to make my point clear, most of these phone come equipped with caller ID. Yeah, that feature that shows you who is calling before you decide to answer it. I use my caller ID 100% of the time (especially when bill collectors are stalkers or people trying to offer you credit blow up your phone (THANK GOD FOR UNLIMITED MINUTES)).

Getting to the main point. If you see me calling you, especially if we are family and you know i’m going to be calling you at a certain time to check up on what’s going on with you, why can’t you answer YOUR damn phone! It really does bug me when you do that.

Oh, check this out: They get mad when you don’t answer your phone. Remember, I was busy just like you were when I tried to get in touch with you and by the way, I DON’T DO VOICEMAIL!

Black men are free to choose who they rather date, marry, or have in his life. He is not obligated by any law of any country, (unless your country condones this) to be with you. This is why so many brothers are turned off by sisters. They don’t want to be dealing with the everyday drama of black women: Always nagging, nagging, nagging about something.

Why are you getting mad at the white woman? Like she isn’t entitled to date someone from another race. (Unless you live in states that haven’t gotten out of the slavery era) She is entitled to be just like the black woman: She want someone to love, to appreciate, to come home to from a long day of work and massage her and hear about the long day she had. She want someone to spend time with the kids, to cook dinner when she is not feeling good. It’s her choice as well if she want to be with a white man or a black man.

So many black women miss out on a good man because they are worried about why the other man left them for a white woman. Instead of focusing on what you didn’t do to please that man, start focusing on what you can do to have a successful relationship….with any man of any race…the next time around.
